His humorous web series Mom & Son, starring Karthik Shankar, Kaladevi (his mother), and M.S. Raja (father’s brother) became a huge hit on Youtube. After a flood of viewer requests, he uploaded several more episodes of the series, which also went viral. It was released by its distributor Fantastic Films. It was the first time in the history of the Malayalam industry that a film production company launched an episode of a series on the web.
