“Rema is hale and healthy!”
Those were the words of Rema’s manager when he was contacted to speak to rumours about the death of his artiste.
Rema’s manager Mr. Sean denied the death rumours during an interview with BBC Saturday evening.
“Death is not something one can hide! Some hackers got access to his official account and spread the rumour.
He is hale and healthy, he is fine. We don’t want to blow this out of proportion” he said.
Mr. Sean added that when Rema saw the fake news about his death, all of them began to laugh.

Around midday on Saturday, the Internet was saturated with the news that Rema was dead.
His biography was even changed on Wikipedia that he died around 1st February, 2020 at 12:00am.
