A Nigerian gay man known as Vincent Desmond on Twitter has recounted how he was treated by his mum after he opened up to her on being gay.
According to Vincent, when he publicly made it known that he is gay, his own mother tried to arrest him.

According to him, he said:
“Every now and then I remembered that when I came out as gay to my mum, she tried to get me arrested.”
