A Kenyan woman identified as Dorcas Jepkemoi Chumba has met her untimely death after she fell into a dam in at Chepkiit Waterfalls in Nandi County, Kenya while taking photos with her fiance also identified as Benjamin Kazungu.
According to her reports, the lady after falling into the dam tried desperately to hold on to something to survive while her fiance also tried to save her but unfortunately all efforts proved futile as the lady drowns in the dam.
Her family has called on the county government to aid them in retrieving her body.
According to the brother of the deceased, “The tragedy indeed took place and we have come to accept that Chumba is no more. We are, however, requesting for help to retrieve the body and give her a befitting send-off.”
