Julia Hartley-Brewer Bio, Parents, Husband, Children: Julia Hartley-Brewer is an English radio presenter born on May 2, 1968, in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

She schooled at Oldfield Girls’ Comprehensive School in Bath and Woodhouse Sixth Form College in F inchley, north London, and graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford with a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics.

Julia Hartley-Brewer later studied for a diploma in journalism at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism and briefly started her career in journalism at the East London Advertiser in Bethnal Green, east London.

She also worked as a news reporter and political correspondent for the London Evening Standard and then later joined The Guardian, staying at the latter until September 2000.

Julia Hartley-Brewer then moved to the Sunday Express as a political correspondent, then as political editor from 2001 until 2007, and then as Assistant Editor (Politics), writing a weekly opinion column. She left the Sunday Express in February 2011.

Julia Hartley-Brewer is currently a political journalist, and newspaper columnist and also hosts the weekday breakfast radio show on Talkradio.

In December 2022, she made headlines after being accused of using the word ‘autistic’ as an insult to attack Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg, a Swedish environmental activist who is known for challenging world leaders to take immediate action for climate change mitigation.
