At age nine, Azaz became a member of West Bromwich Albion. In August 2020, he moved to Cheltenham Town on loan.
In September 2020, he played his first professional match in an EFL Cup 1-0 victory over Peterborough United. A month later, he scored his first goal in the same tournament, losing 3-1 to Championship team Millwall in the second round.
After signing with Aston Villa on July 26, 2021, Azaz was loaned out to Newport County for the 2021–2022 season right away. On August 10, 2021, he made his Newport debut in a 1-0 EFL Cup victory over Ipswich Town, when he assisted on the game’s winning goal.
