American Rapper, Nas Says He Will Be Moving To Ghana Soon

Grammy award-w inning American rapper, Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, popularly known in showbiz circles as Nas has revealed his intentions to move to Ghana.

This comes after his father, Charles Jones III has traced his root back to Nigeria hence has changed his name to Olu Dara Jones.

Most musicians sometimes reveal their next moves in the songs. Although the rap music is all about style and bragging, some actually do whatever they say in their songs and for Nas, his plans are to relocate to Ghana.

In his latest album titled King’s Disease II, one of the songs dubbed “Nobody”, the rapper revealed that just as other top celebs like Steve Wonder and Dave Chappelle hinted on moving to Ghana, he will also be following suit.

A verse of the song says; “IF CHAPPELLE MOVED TO GHANA TO FIND HIS PEACE THEN I’M ROLLIN’ WHERE THE SERVICE ALWAYS ROAMIN’, I’M PACKIN’ MY BAGS AND GOIN’ IT’S A CHALLENGE IN THAT, IT’S A BALANCING ACT VISIT BEAUTIFUL PLACES THAT’S MORE OUT HERE THAN THE TRAP…”

In other news, Ghanaian actress and media personality Rya Anakwa has come to the defense of young Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog after many people started chastising him on his Tim Westwood performance.

Young rapper Yaw Tog together with other colleague rappers like Amerado and Kweku Flick had the opportunity to have a sit-down interview with renowned disc jockey and media personality Tim Westwood on Capital Xtra radio.

This was when the three rappers together with several musicians in the country traveled to the United Kingdom couple of weeks ago for the 12th edition of the Ghana Party In The Park organized by Akwaaba UK.
